Phlorizin

Phloretin is a glucoside of phloretin, chemically named 1-(2-(beta-D-glucopyranoxy) -46-dihydroxyphenyl)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl) -acetone, which belongs to the dihydrochalcone class of flavonoids. Phloridin is mainly present in the bark, stem, young leaves and fruit of apple trees, and a small amount in chrysanthemaceae, rhododendraceae, legumes, crustaceaceae, liliaceae and other plants
