Naringenin

Naringenin is an aglycone of naringenin, a dihydroflavonoid compound. It is white acicular crystal (methanol) at room temperature, soluble in ethanol, ether and benzene, and almost insoluble in water. The reaction of magnesium hydrochloride powder was cherry red, the reaction of sodium tetrahydroborate was reddish purple, and the molish reaction was negative. In nature, it is mainly derived from the bud of cherry blossom (PrunusyedoensisMate) and the core shell of the fruit of Amacardi-umoccidentaleL (refer to relevant literature)
