Biological activity: Icaritin (Anhydroicartin) is an isoprene flavonoid derivative of EpimediumGenisis, which can effectively inhibit the proliferation of K562 cells (IC50 of 8 µ M) and primary CML cells (IC50 of 13.4 µ M for CML-CP and 18 µ M for CML-BC). Icarin can regulate MAPK/ERK/JNK and JAK2/STAT3/AKT signal transduction and enhance osteogenesis.
Chemical properties: yellow crystalline powder, soluble in methanol, ethanol, DMSO and other organic solvents, derived from Epimedium.
Purpose: It has the function of reducing blood pressure and resisting radiation soft tissue damage.
