Andrographolide is a diterpenoid lactone compound extracted from Andrographolide, which is one of the main active components of Chinese medicine. It is white square prism or flake crystal in appearance, odorless and bitter in taste. Andrographolide is dissolved in boiling ethanol, slightly soluble in methanol or ethanol, very slightly soluble in chloroform, and almost insoluble in water or ether. It has the effect of dispelling heat and detoxifying, anti-inflammatory and analgesic, and has special effect on bacterial and viral upper respiratory tract infections and dysentery, and is known as a natural antibiotic drug (refer to related literature)
